However, it may be that our complaint receives the same answer Habakkuk received: that the apostate leadership (of TEC for us) as well as the faithful congregations may be destroyed by the "Chaldeans" a "bitter and hasty people", perhaps here representing the power of litigation to tear apart and destroy the entire structure.John Tang Boylandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01257451021082654007noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-759178030677978044.post-42109567173376774992008-09-13T22:28:00.000-07:002008-09-13T22:28:00.000-07:00Rick, Perpetua and Martial Artist, thank you all f...Rick, Perpetua and Martial Artist, thank you all for your comments here. I agree with Rick that TEC, and more especially the Chief Kaitiff and her legion of sycophants, is the principal problem. Unless she has a Damascus moment, she is obviously destined to persecute the faithful every bit as much as Saul---so pray for her.

Perpetua, the abuses of the canons she is currently instigating will not go unnoticed in the California courts, I promise you. I also happen to think that they contributed to TEC's loss in Virginia; but the jury is still out with Judge James in Pittsburgh.

Martial Artist, great minds think alike. I also considered the name "Caiaphas" as a tag for our PB, and the only thing that swayed me in favor of "Chief Kaitiff" was that it allowed us to stay focused on her identity, where "Caiaphas" would have maybe tended to shift that focus onto an historical (and male) figure. What I wanted instead was a term that reminded us of who she was, as well as what she was, hence the combimnation "Kate" + "caitiff" (in the sense of "scoundrel, a mean and evil person"). So since my choice is still readable as a title (like the "Chief Pontiff"), maybe as a compromise, we should say "the Chief Kaitiff Caiaphas". I'll think some more about it.A. S. Namely, her attitude immediately called to my mind the high priest of the Temple, Caiaphas. Hence, you might wish to use that in lieu of Kaitiff, whether preceded by "Chief," "Head," or "High."

Blessings and regards,
Martial ArtistMartial Artisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12059467870069787735noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-759178030677978044.post-69846718862851253162008-09-13T15:53:00.000-07:002008-09-13T15:53:00.000-07:00Is there any benefit for the orthodox from her fla...Is there any benefit for the orthodox from her flagrant abuse of the cannons? She can bend and shape them as she wills because she is the Presiding Blacksmith.

I can't tell you how many clergy and laity at our former TEC church have asked us to come back. I always respond that it isn't Christ Church that is the direct problem. TEC is the direct problem. Christ Church is indirectly the problem because it has chosen to sit on the sidelines and do nothing to oppose TEC or its corrupt diocese.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01134718615424085878noreply@blogger.com
