The ECUSA Bishop professes to be on a prophetic mission from God's Holy Spirit to ignore everything Jesus taught, about money, marriage, children, mercy, charity, eternal life, etc., and to oppose the Bible's clear message citing his own high authority. The Biblical Anglican Bishop defends the authority of the Bible as the blueprint for doing God's will in accordance with the Holy Spirit.

The Biblical Anglican Bishop sees the ECUSA Bishop's theological perversion through a veil of disguise, announces the futility of the meeting and loves God and his fellow man enough to walk out of it.

I wrote this "No Joke" after Archbishop Stanley Ntagali, Church of Uganda had walked out during the Anglican meeting in Canterbury, England. He wrote, 13th January 2016, "My conscience is at peace."

Denominational differences are present in every world religion from human interpretation. These differences vary widely while at the same time they all have some center that they stem out from.

Christians have had, have, and will have confusion stemming from within their own communities. We must courageously return to the Bible and learn wisdom from it, and then we must teach others to do the same.

We've started reading the book of Mark (a chapter weekly) in a small group at our Anglican Church. It's the first time we're reading a book from the Bible outside of our own small family group of four, made up of two (born in 1967), our daughter and son (born in 1996 & 1997). My husband and I continue to read our Bible daily. We marvel that the earliest Christians had schisms too.

Finally, I've always liked these words from Ecclesiastes Chapter 12 vs. 13 & 14 (NIV):

13 Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. 14 For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.LJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14259338463561745614noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-759178030677978044.post-5302275729579794252017-06-02T22:06:23.418-07:002017-06-02T22:06:23.418-07:00Thank you for that update, LJ -- I have fixed the ...Thank you for that update, LJ -- I have fixed the link.A. The barbarians (atheists and Muslims) are at the gates. Whether we hold to the faith once delivered to the Apostles matters greatly.

With reference to Anglicans, some of the evangelicals and charismatics appear to me to be hewing to a new line coming out of the sixteenth or twentieth centuries, respectively. It's not that each generation can't have insights and contributions, but the main deposit of faith should not be set aside.Katherinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03553894154841373604noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-759178030677978044.post-3353154799325307792017-05-27T05:18:24.440-07:002017-05-27T05:18:24.440-07:00Since you first posted this, the intolerance of th...Since you first posted this, the intolerance of the orthodox point of view has done its job, effectively purging the ranks of the clergy. For those left in the pews many are holding on just so they can have their funerals in a nice historic building.
