Our Smartest Leader Ever - a Triple Play

If I were Christopher Johnson, this would have to be presented as a new drinking game.  The narrator in the video below is speaking Danish, but there are subtitles -- and the main point is President Obama, who of course speaks in English. So you don't need to know Danish or read the subtitles to get the point being made.  See how many repetitions of diplomatic flattery by our "smartest President ever" you can make it through before (a) chuckling; and (b) guffawing in sheer disbelief:

Next, you've probably all read by now the accounts of President Obama's accidentally miked conversation with Russian President Dmitri Medvedev on Monday, in which reporters coming into the East Room could hear him saying that because this November will be "my last election", Medvedev needs to tell Vladimir Putin to give him "more space" in the coming months, particularly "on missile defense," and that "after the election I have more flexibility."

Needless to say, the Poles are quite upset that Obama might sell them out, and Obama's opponents have been having a field day.

However, no reaction I've seen to the President's cynical approach to foreign affairs during this political season matches this delectable post by Michael Walsh over at the Corner:

Life Imitates Art
or
Who Needs Terry Southern When We've Got Obama?

And to conclude, just in time for today's arguments in the Supreme Court over the constitutionality of Obamacare's mandate, I present to you a debate clearly stating the pros and cons -- with Barack Obama arguing both sides! (H/T: Instapundit. The pro arguments are from the past two years; the con arguments are when he was running for President, and arguing against Sen. Clinton's plan.)

  1. We are ROTFLOL at the office right now. I may have to right a memo to myself to ban your site from the workplace!

  2. I fear that your posting the Obama "postitions" on PPACA (before and after) has forced me to reevaluate my earlier assessment of the man. I was wrong. He is not just an empty suit. It is much, much worse than that.
